With a decade of experience in the industry – visiting the camps, meeting with directors, and learning about all the camp world can offer - we are experts in the field whose primary goal is to help families find the best place for their children.
Making Connections
Penn Placements will pair each family with an ambassador to guide them along the way. This ambassador will connect the family with the camps or programs that they are most interested in and can facilitate introductions, conversations and more.
Finding The Best Match
As the family works through the decision making process, the ambassador is there to help, answer questions and to guide in whatever way is needed. Essentially, we are there as much – or as little – as the family needs.
A Family First Approach
We know that every family - and every child within it - is different. Our approach is focused on meeting each family where they are at, knowing that their needs may change as the process continues, and with each child they may have different factors to consider. Our team is founded by 3 sisters who are raising families in 3 different locations, and who went to 3 different camps. We understand that camp is not a one size fits all model, and pride ourselves on being approachable, authentic, and truly taking the time to listen to your family's needs.
How Our Process Works
Step 1: Camper Questionnaire
Fill out our intake form to help us get an understanding of your family interests and camper(s) needs. This helps us get a baseline for where our exploration begins.
Step 2: Campfire Chat
Schedule a no-cost call with one of our placement advisors where we will discuss your family/child’s interests and put together a list of recommendations we think will be a good fit
Step 3: Journey Begins
Receive a list of personalized recommendations and a follow up to review the list together and discuss next steps.
Step 4: Scouting & Selection
We will help the family narrow in the top choices, and ultimately make a decision. If the family decides to tour camps, we are there to connect after the tours and help evaluate trade-offs.
